All Ferko’s Fine Jewelry pieces are designed to transcend time. This begins with our commitment to superior materials and transparency behind our process.
At Ferko’s Fine jewelry, we take great pride in the craftsmanship behind each jewelry piece. This process begins far before the wax is casted, however. It also includes the ways we source and select our materials. We have an uncompromising commitment to high-quality natural materials that meet strict requirements.
Transparency is important to us. So we eliminate the fluff and don’t use fancy terms (like gold plated or gold vermeil) to make jewelry sound better than it actually is. Instead, we’re committed to raising the bar with transparency—and that includes the materials we use.
We remove the guesswork and only use genuine and quality materials to create fine jewelry that lasts a lifetime. So let’s break down everything you need to know about our materials.
14K Solid Gold
All Ferko’s pieces use 14K Solid Gold, which lends the warm look and elegant feel. You won’t find inferior materials, such as gold plated or vermeil, in any of our jewelry. We offer the option to upgrade to 18K Gold or Platinum Gold with every purchase (always available upon request).
Karats measure the purity of the precious metal and gold content. At 58.5%, 14K Solid Gold provides a great balance between strength, value and purity. Our heirloom-worthy pieces are designed to transcend time and we believe 14K Solid Gold is the perfect starting point.
18K Gold jewelry offers 75.0% gold content and is another option for those who prefer it. This is more about personal preference. The purest form of gold is 24K, but this is rarely used in jewelry due to its limited strength.
Natural Diamonds & Gemstones
We only use natural diamonds and gemstones (not lab-grown) that pass strict quality control standards. All of our diamonds are sourced from suppliers who follow conflict-free guidelines and socially responsible practices.
Our suppliers are sightholders of De Beers Global Sightholder Sales (DBGSS), also known as De Beers Trading Company (DTC). This means that they must obtain and cut their diamonds to satisfy tight international standards, including the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme. Our focus ensures integrity not only in the supply but all along the journey of the diamond.
Lab diamonds, which are artificially created in a laboratory, are different from natural diamonds, which produce naturally in the earth. We cherish earth-mined diamonds and gemstones over their lab-grown counterparts because they carry a rareness and value to them. They also have a certain brilliance and shine to them that lab-grown diamonds can’t seem to replicate.
A Commitment to Timeless Luxury
Simple, classic and elegant jewelry can be worn for decades for their timeless appeal—but it also has to be durable enough to stand the test of time. This begins with our selection of superior quality materials, which meet the strictest international regulations. Our collection of heirloom-worthy jewelry pieces are meant to last a lifetime, so that you can get value for your hard-earned money.
